Not knowing if its coming back with the new redesign, I was wondering how the Cruze diesel did sales wise. I know I had read a few places that some people didn’t see that it was worth it over the (way) cheaper Eco model. Anyone know how it did and was it worth it?

Not sure of official numbers, but I have never seen a Cruze diesel in person. I've seen about a million Eco models, though.

Same here. Only time I have ever seen one was in the promotional video that GM released.

Found no consumer reviews or professional reviews on KBB.com. Found a small mention of the diesel in Edmonds.com’s review of the Cruze and 3 consumer reviews on their site as well. That kinda tells me all I need to know.

Cruzes for sale currently on eBay: 51 CPO, 64 used.
Number that are diesel: 0.
That says all I need to know. They’re either worth keeping, or they didn’t sell.

As far as I’m aware, the current Cruze diesel has a take rate of less than 5% ; I believe they’re doing the same thing that they did with the Colorado and introducing the new Cruze diesel in the second model year.

Doesn’t most trim leveles of the Cruze there come with a diesel engine option?
